India were the defending champions for the men’s team, but lost to China in the quarter-finals. South Korea were the defending champions for the women’s team, but lost to Indonesia in the semi-finals. China won both tournaments, defeating Indonesia in both finals.

In the semi-finals, China beat Malaysia 3-1, showcasing their strength and determination. Indonesia, on the other hand, defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1, setting the stage for an exciting final against China.

In the first men’s singles match of the final, Shi Y. Q. (BWF : 2)  of China faced off against Ginting A.S.(BWF : 7) of Indonesia. The first men’s doubles match saw the Chinese duo of Liang WK and Wang C taking on the Indonesian pair of Alfian F. and Arduanto M.R. The match was fiercely contested, with the Chinese pair eventually emerging victorious with a score of 21-18, 17-21, 21-7.
